What does Petronyx replace?
Paper or spreadsheet stock sheets, handwritten shift handovers, separate price logs and the end-of-month reconciliation done by hand. Everything is entered once, on the shift where it happened.
How is variance calculated?
For each fuel grade, Petronyx takes opening stock, adds deliveries and transfers in, subtracts meter sales, transfers out, losses and test returns, and compares the expected closing stock with your dip or electronic tank reading.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The mobile app stores readings and entries on the device and syncs them when the connection returns, with version checks so two people cannot silently overwrite each other.
Can we run several stations?
Yes. Each station keeps its own tanks, pumps, staff and shifts, while owners see the whole network. Starter covers up to 3 stations, Professional up to 15 and Enterprise has no practical limit.
How long does setup take?
A guided setup walks through company details, stations, fuel grades, tanks, pumps, nozzles, pricing, staff and the stock sheet. Most of the time goes into gathering tank and meter details, so have them ready.
Who owns our data?
You do. Petronyx processes it to run the service on your behalf, and you can export stock sheets and reports at any time. See the data processing agreement for details.
